It is barely noticeable when playing though. This of course has a slightly different colour than the other one and fitting it to the neck left some traces (see picture). when I got the guitar, the lower neck binding was missing completely, so I installed a new one. the bridge and all other parts are original. You can swap them with 8mm tuners without having to drill. tuners still do their job, but one peg is a bit twisted, and the other has an exchanged peghead. some dings and dongs around the body Hoyer logo is almost entirely gone. good condition of lacquer, straight neck that can be set with a functional truss rod, frets still do. The neck is probably made of maple with a rosewood fingerboard. The body is all hollow, made likely from laminated spruce. 8,15 cm body depth (so it`s actually NOT a thinline and NOT thinner than any other German archtop. 1,9 mm string action on 12th fret (super low possible) The Piccolo is what you could call a "parlor" sized archtop guitar, which as far as I know only West German luthiers did. Hoyer was one of the most renown luthiers of West Germany and made lots of different models. Rare Arnold Hoyer "Piccolo" - a small archtop guitar made in the early 1960s in West Germany.
